Our Commitment
DealVelo is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AAstandards published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities.
Current Status
DealVelo is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are actively working to achieve full conformance and improve accessibility across all features.
Accessibility Features
DealVelo includes the following accessibility features:
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements can be accessed using keyboard only (Tab, Enter, Arrow keys)
- Screen Reader Support: Semantic HTML and ARIA labels for assistive technologies
- Color Contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios
- Resizable Text: Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality
- Focus Indicators: Clear visual indicators when navigating with keyboard
- Alternative Text: Descriptive alt text for all meaningful images
- Form Labels: All form inputs have associated labels
- Consistent Navigation: Predictable navigation structure across all pages
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some limitations exist:
- Complex Charts: Some financial charts may be difficult to interpret with screen readers. We provide tabular data alternatives where possible.
- Real-Time Updates: Screen readers may not always announce real-time calculation updates. Manual refresh may be required.
- Third-Party Content: Some embedded third-party services (e.g., Stripe payment forms) may have their own accessibility limitations.
We are actively working to address these limitations in future updates.
